Two Injured in Prosper Crash with an Uninsured Driver

According to the Texas Crash Report, on November 7, 2022, at 8:03 p.m., Prosper Police and Fire responded to the 1450 block of Preston Road for a two-vehicle crash. A black Volkswagen driven by 19-year-old Randy Edwards, Jr. was traveling southbound on Preston Road when he attempted a U-Turn at St. Peter from the southbound lanes to the northbound lanes. He failed to yield the open intersection while making the U-Turn colliding with a gray Kia Sportage driven by 60-year-old Stephen Veronie. Mr. Veronie and his 45-year-old passenger Laura Warrington suffered injuries and were both transported to a local hospital. Mr. Edwards was charged with No Driver’s License and No Insurance.
