A truck driver has been charged and turned himself in for Accident Involving Death stemming from a Plano, TX crash that claimed the life of 29-year-old Leah Daniels. Police say that Daniels had been involved in a minor crash that caused her vehicle to become stalled in an active lane of traffic. When she exited the vehicle, she was struck by a Peterbilt driven by 55-year-old Richard Louis Crockett, Jr. Crockett reportedly fled the scene and did not stop to render aid. A few days following the crash, he contacted the Plano Police Department and turned himself in. Court records indicate he was released on a $10,000 bail. No other injuries were reported and no additional details are available at this time.
