Police have arrested Cody Landrum with Intoxication Manslaughter for his involvement in a Leander, TX crash that claimed the lives of Jeremy Moore and Angela Barry. According to the Leander Police Facebook Page, officers of the Leander Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of RM 2243 southbound and 183A Toll Road to investigate a crash. It happened around 7:30 p.m. on September 30, 2022 and was a double fatality crash involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle. The preliminary investigation revealed that Moore and Barry were traveling southbound on 183A Toll Road frontage road on a motorcycle. The driver stopped for a red light at the intersection of 183A and RM 2243. While waiting for the light to change, the motorcycle was struck from behind by a southbound black 2021 Nissan Rogue driven by Cody Landrum of Cuero, TX. The two riders on the motorcycle were pronounced deceased at the scene. At the conclusion of the investigation, Leander officers arrested Cody Landrum for two counts of Intoxication Manslaughter. After being medically cleared, Landrum was transported to the Williamson County Jail and booked on these charges. The Leander Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Team is still actively working this case.
