Francis Ringhale Killed, Vickie Ringdahl Seriously Injured in Johnston County, OK Crash Involving Dump Truck

One woman has died and another is critically injured in a crash involving a Nissan Altima and a dump truck in Johnston County.  The fatal crash happened on Highway 48 on August 26, 2022, shortly after 11 a.m.  According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 35-year-old Vickie Ringdahl was traveling southbound on Highway 48 in a Nissan Altima. Ms. Ringdahl had an 82-year-old passenger in her car, Francis Ringdahl of Pinedale, Wyoming.  Ms. Francis Ringhale was pronounced dead at the scene.  Ms. Vickie Ringdahl was seriously injured and airlifted to a hospital in Plano, TX.  The driver of the dump truck, 35-year-old Michael Stephens of Durant, OK, was not injured.  The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
