Ebony Dove Critically Injured by a Wrong-Way Driver on North Central Freeway in Wichita Falls, TX

According to KFDX, Wichita Police responded to a crash at around 2 a.m. on October 2, 2022.  It happened in the 800 block of North Central Freeway and resulted in one fatality and another person seriously injured.

According to WFPD spokesman Sgt. Charlie Eipper, a white 2010 Nissan Altima was driving north on the southbound side of the freeway and collided head-on with a silver 2012 Chevy Malibu.  Mohammed Al-Abdulla, the 21-year-old driver in the Altima, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Ebony Dove, the 23-year-old driver of the Malibu, was transported to United Regional in Wichita Falls.  Due to the seriousness of her injuries, she was flown to a hospital in Fort Worth in critical condition.  KFDX reported that Ms. Dove has a broken arm, fractured hip and multiple breaks in both of her legs that will require surgery and a long recovery.
