Driver Charged in Crash that Claimed the Life of Jesus Trevino and Harlingen Mother of Six, Angela Galicia

Police have charged a truck driver with two counts of manslaughter for his involvement in a crash that claimed the life of Angela Galicia and Jesus Trevino. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Reports indicate that 4 others were injured in the crash. According to KRGV, the crash happened on January 20, 2023 around 2:20 p.m. in the area of 25340 FM 160 near FM 509. Reports indicate that the driver lost control of his vehicle and caused it to jack-knife. Three vehicles crashed into the rig. Juan Jose Bazaldua-Sanchez (25) has been charged with two counts of Manslaughter. His bail was set at $68,000 and he was transferred to the Cameron County jail.
