Cyclist in Critical Condition after being struck in a hit-and-run in Fort Worth, TX

On September 19, 2022, around 12:30 a.m. Fort Worth police were dispatched to the scene of a hit-and-run at the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and the southbound entrance ramp to the North/South Freeway.  According to a news report from WFAA, the victim was riding his bike in the eastbound lanes of Lancaster Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle.  The driver didn’t stop to help before fleeing the scene.  The cyclist is in critical condition and was taken to a local hospital.  Authorities do not have a description of the suspect or their vehicle.  The police department’s traffic investigation unit is investigating the accident and have asked anyone with information to call the Traffic Division at 817-392-4850 and reference number 220074136.
