April 2, 2023 – Xavier Killingsworth Dies in Crash on S. Cooper Street, Two Others Injured

On April 2, 2023, Arlington Police responded to a wreck in the 5400 block of S. Cooper Street in Arlington, TX. A Cadillac CTS and Mercedes-Benz were both traveling northbound along Cooper Street where they collided, causing the driver of the Cadillac to lose control, cross the center median, and crash into a Ford Excursion that was traveling southbound. The 29-year-old driver of the Cadillac was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified him as Xavier Killingsworth of Fort Worth, TX. The driver of the Excursion suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital and the driver of the Mercedes did not report serious injuries. Investigators recovered evidence at the scene and collected witness statements. Speed and alcohol have not been ruled out as factors in this crash.
