One Person has Died After Striking the Back of an 18-Wheeler in Garland, TX

According to Irving Weekly, a fatality crash has claimed the life of one person along the eastbound lanes of IH-30 and Zion Road.  According to Irving Weekly, just before 3:00 a.m. on October 8, 2022, Garland Fire/EMS and Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on the eastbound main lanes of Interstate 30.  Preliminary information indicates that a vehicle struck the back of an 18-Wheeler.  The driver was believed to have been killed upon impact and was pronounced dead at the scene.  There were no other injuries.  The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
