1 Pedestrian Dead, Hit-and-Run Driver Kills Bystander on Marsalis Avenue in Dallas

The Dallas Police Department is asking for help in identifying a suspected hit-and-run driver who struck a pedestrian on January 18, 2023. They say that it happened just after 3:30 a.m. at the 300 block of S. Marsalis Ave. An unknown person driving a GMC truck (model year 2004-2010) pulled out of a parking lot and made an improper left turn at the South RL Thornton Service Road. The vehicle then struck a man on the sidewalk who died at the scene from his injuries. The driver fled and police are looking for him.
