One Person Injured in a Crash at the Intersection of Alma Drive and W. Rainforest Lane in Allen TX

On October 26, 2022, at 5:32 p.m., Allen TX Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Alma Drive in response to a two-vehicle crash. According to the crash report, seventeen-year-old Connor Pyle was driving a green Jeep SUV and approaching the intersection of Rainforest Lane and Alma Drive at a stop sign. A silver Toyota Camry driven by forty-nine-year-old Vincent Bounphouansy was traveling northbound on Alma Drive in the number 1 lane approaching the intersection. The driver of the Jeep failed to yield right-of-way at the stop intersection and entered the roadway, resulting in the collision. The driver of the Camry was injured but declined transport to a hospital. No other injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
