According to a Go Fund Me page started for the victim, Natalie Belcher was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in Sherman, TX. On September 30, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Ms. Belcher was struck by a vehicle while walking on east Cherry between Maxey and Willow. After impact, the driver fled the scene. According to the Go Fund Me page, the victim suffered a fractured pelvis, fractured rib, her pelvis was broken on both sides, and her hip was knocked into her stomach and perforated her bowl. She was transported to Medical City Plano for surgery and is anticipating a recovery of approximately 8 weeks.
