Michelle Guevarra Killed, Two Injured By Drunk Driving Crash in Fort Worth, TX

Authorities announced that on Sunday, September 11^th, Michelle Guevarra passed away at approximately 11:23 a.m. from injuries sustained from a drunk driving crash that happened the afternoon of September 5, 2022.  At approximately 4 p.m., Fort Worth officers responded to a crash at the Intersection of Mansfield Highway and Wichita Street.  The suspect, Juan Manuel Lopez, was traveling at a high rate of speed and allegedly ran several red lights before striking another vehicle.  Detailed crash reports are not available at this time, but authorities have stated that Mr. Lopez was arrested on September 8^th and charged with two counts of Intoxication Assault with a Vehicle – Serious Bodily Injury, and is now facing a charge of Intoxication Manslaughter.  An update will be provided once more information is available.
