Lamar County Crash Claims the Life of Virginia Raney and Leaves Bryson Stee with Injuries

According to KXII, the Texas Department of Public Safety said that 24-year-old Virginia Raney died after a crash on US-271 near 4th street. The crash happened December 11, 2022 when a pickup truck traveling southbound, driven by 19-year-old Bryson Stee, crossed the center lane and struck the left front part of Raney’s car. Ms. Raney was pronounced dead at the scene. Mr. Stee was transported to Paris Regional Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries. Troopers said this is an ongoing investigation.
