Jeffrey Burton Suffered Serious Injuries in a Drunk Driver-Involved Accident in Grayson County

According to KXII, Jeffrey Burton (61) of Farmersville suffered serious injuries in a crash with a DWI driver. It happened at around 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 22 on U.S. 69 near Shaffer Road. According to reports, a Ford van driven by 31-year old Samnuel Mozo of Denison, was traveling northbound and a Chevy SUV driven by 61-year-old Jeffrey Burton of Farmersville was traveling southbound. The Ford crossed the center line and struck the Chevrolet. Both drivers were taken to Texoma Medical Center for treatment of their injuries, but Burton was seriously injured. Troopers said that Samuel Mozo was intoxicated at the time of the crash and was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Driving While Intoxicated BAC >=.15.
