February 11, 2023 – Alisha Renee Warren Killed and Lomeka Lynn Gipson Seriously Injured by Unlicensed Trucker

A commercial truck driven by Francisco Mirciadis Turcio-Sigaran was involved in a crash involving the death of one woman and seriously injuring another. The wreck happened at approximately 1:13 a.m. in the 7400 block of S. Central Expy in Dallas, TX. The crash report indicates that a truck tractor towing a semi trailer was stopped on the right shoulder in the 7400 block of South Central Expressway. The driver needed to back into a private drive located at 7425 S. Central Expy. In order to execute the difficult maneuver, the driver drove across the right, middle, and left lanes and then over the unprotected center median into the northbound lanes of travel. According to the report, he started to back up while unsafe and blocked the left and middle lanes. That is when a Ford Escape driven by 48-year-old Lomeka Lynn Gipson, collided into the back of the trailer. Gipson suffered incapacitating injuries and a passenger in her vehicle, 45-year-old Alisha Renee Warren, was pronounced dead at the scene. No injuries were reported by the driver of the commercial truck. The crash report indicates that the driver was charged with No Valid Texas Driver License.
