Fannin County Crash Claims the Life of Jonathan Davenport, Leaves Two with Injuries

A Fannin County Crash on January 26, 2023 has left one dead and two other injured. It happened Thursday night on State Highway 121. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 38-year-old Abbas Zeerak was traveling south on SH 121 behind a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Jonathan Davenport. When Davenport slowed down to make a left-hand turn onto County Road 4642, Zeerak rear-ended him. The impact of the crash pushed the vehicle driven by Davenport into the northbound lane where he was struck by another vehicle driven by 47-year-old Jessica Bradford. Authorities pronounced Mr. Davenport dead at the scene. Zeerak was taken to Baylor Medical Center in McKinney with serious injuries and Bradford was taken to TMC in Denison with stable injuries. DPS said that an investigation is ongoing and no additional details are available at this time.
