Drunk Driver Crashes into Dallas Fire Truck and is In Critical Condition

According to KDFW, Dallas Fire-Rescue had responded to an earlier crash in the southbound lanes of Stemmons Freeway near Storey Lane shortly at approximately 2:30 a.m on January 7, 2023. While they were working the earlier crash, a woman crashed into the back of a blocker truck that was being used by Dallas Fire Rescue to manage traffic. The woman was hospitalized in critical condition. No firefighter reported injuries. Officers later charged the woman with Driving While Intoxicated. No additional details are available at this time.
