Driver Killed in Fiery West Dallas Crash near Wycliff and Irving Boulevard

A driver has lost their life while allegedly speeding down Wycliff Avenue near Irving Boulevard according to news reports. It happened in the early morning hours of January 20, 2023. Authorities say the driver lost control of the vehicle before hitting a utility pole and crashing into a business. The vehicle burst into flames. Firefighters found the victim inside the vehicle after putting out the fire. No one else was hurt in this accident. The driver’s name has not been released and officers are continuing the investigation.
