Cooke County Crash leaves Two Drivers Injured

Texas DPS Crash Reports reveal that on February 7, 2022, Kyle Allison (54) of Decatur was traveling north on FM 51 in a white Ford F250 in Cooke County.  He stated that an oncoming vehicle traveling south was in the northbound lane in which he was traveling.  To avoid a collision, Mr. Allison veered left.  About that same time, the southbound driver, Ryan Eli Mospan, driving a Honda SUV veered back into the southbound lane of travel, crashing into Mr. Allison. Both drivers were transported to Medical City Denton – Allison by ambulance and Mospan by Careflight.  A toxicology result revealed Mr. Mospan was legally intoxicated at the time of the crash.  He was subsequently charged with DWI – 1st Offense.
