Car Rear-Ended in Anna and Bursts into Flames, Injuring Driver

According to a Texas Crash Report, Anna Police were dispatched to a crash on SH 121 on November 18, 2022. At approximately 6:29 a.m., it is reported that a Chevy El Camino driven by Leslie Hawes (53), was stopped behind the vehicle yielding on the ramp. A Subaru Forester driven by Alec Kyle (24) approached the El Camino and did not apply brakes soon enough and struck the vehicle with his Forester. After impact, the El Camino burst into flames. The driver, Leslie Hawes, was transported to Medical Center McKinney with serious injuries. Mr. Kyle was also transported with possible injuries.
