It wasn’t very long after leaving Winstar Casino that Jorge Martinez Munoz caused a crash on North Grand Avenue in Gainesville, TX and fled from the scene of the accident. According to the Texas crash report, it happened on August 20, 2022 at approximately 7:07 p.m. on Grand Avenue near the 3500 block of the I-35 Frontage Road. A white Dodge Ram 2500 by Jorge Munoz (53) was traveling southbound on Grand Avenue when he failed to maintain a single lane of traffic, crossed the center stripe and side swiped a yellow Ford Escape driven by Cameron Spradley (22). Mr. Munoz fled the scene and was apprehended down the road from the scene of the accident. He was subsequently arrested for DWI and Accident Involving Damage to a Vehicle over $200. The report states that Mr. Munoz had just left the Winstar Casino Intoxicated. Mr. Spradley was transported to North Texas Medical Center for injuries sustained in the crash.
