April 2, 2023 – Hit-and-Run Accident Claims the Lives of Kristofer and Jessica Goodrum

The Ector County DPS is investigating a hit-and-run that claimed the lives of 40-year-old Kristofer Goodrum and 38-year-old Jessica Goodrum. The initial investigation revealed that Goodrum was traveling eastbound on University approaching Sycamore Street on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when a Chevrolet Silverado traveling westbound failed to yield the right of way while turning left and struck the motorcycle. Both driver and passenger on the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are asking the public for help identifying the driver who fled the scene.
