Two Pedestrians Seriously Injured, Two Others Receive Minor Injuries After Being Struck by Intoxicated Driver in Dallas, TX Crash

An intoxicated driver tried to flee the scene of an accident after striking two pedestrians before crashing into a car.  On September 25, 2022, just before 3 a.m., officers responded to a crash at the 10000 block of Composite Drive in Dallas, TX.  According to Fox 4 News, police said the 30-year-old suspect was northbound in a red, 2005 Dodge Neon as a 21-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were crossing the street.  The driver struck both pedestrians and continued to drive.  He then crossed into the southbound lanes where he struck a car.  The driver then attempted to flee the scene of the accident on foot before being apprehended by officers and taken into custody.  Both pedestrians were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.  The two occupants in the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
