10 Children Hospitalized in Crash Involving a Farmersville ISD School Bus

NBCDFW reports that on January 4, 2023 at approximately 4:24 p.m., a school bus with 48 students was struck by a pickup. Texas DPS spokesman Sgt. Kyle Bradford said that it happened on Farm-to-Market Road 2194 at County Road 1661. The bus stopped and was dropping off a student when the F-150 struck it from behind. Ten students on the bus and the driver of the pickup were taken to nearby hospitals. All had injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The driver of the pickup will be ticketed and the investigation is ongoing.
