One Driver Injured in Sherman TX Crash Involving a Distracted Driver

According to the Texas Crash Report, Sherman TX Police responded to a crash at the 3100 block of FM 691 and Sam Rayburn Freeway. It happened at approximately 6:10 p.m. on November 12, 2022. A Nissan Sentra driven by Jatiece Rainwater (72) was driving north on the East control road of N. Sam Rayburn and was yielding to traffic on FM 691 to turn East. A Toyota Highlander driven by Marvin Davis (70) was traveling behind the Sentra and struck it in the rear of the vehicle. Ms. Rainwater was transported to a local hospital with injuries.
